Forest Preserves of Cook County to host free documentary screening at West Pullman Library
The Forest Preserves of Cook County is presenting their Emmy award-winning documentary “Chicago’s True Nature: The Forest Preserves of Cook County” at the West Pullman Library, 830 W. 119th Street in Chicago, on Saturday, March 31, 2018, starting at 2 p.m. Following the screening, attendees can join in a discussion on how volunteer stewards help restore habitat in the Forest Preserves, and what residents can do to get involved.

The hour-long documentary captures the sights and sounds within the Forest Preserves of Cook County as it marked its 100th anniversary throughout 2015. Attendees will see and learn about the benefits of nature, the impact of open land to our quality of life and what lies ahead in the next century for the one of the oldest and largest forest preserve systems in the nation.
