Guaranteed Investments is proposing to open and operate a Cannabis Business Establishment at 8347-57 South Halsted St, Chicago, IL 60620, which requires an amendment to the current zoning designation and a permit for Special Use. The City of Chicago requires that an applicant submit an application for Zoning Amendment with the Department of Planning and Zoning, following this amendment an application for a Special Use Permit must be filed with the Zoning Board of Appeals. The Zoning Board of Appeals will then hold a hearing to consider the Special Use application, notice of which will be provided at a later date.
In advance of this hearing, applicants for Adult Use Cannabis Establishments are required to hold a Community Meeting for the purpose of explaining the proposal and soliciting comments on this topic. At this meeting, we will present the details of our Cannabis Business Establishment, explain how this venture will benefit your community, and address any questions and concerns you may have as a local resident of the 21st ward. This meeting will be hosted by members of the Guaranteed Investments team. The entire community is invited and we look forward to presenting our vision to renovate and rejuvenate this currently vacant property.
