Protect Chicago Free Vaccine Event for Seniors Week!
CHICAGO - As the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) continues to vaccinate all individuals eligible in Phase 1b against COVID-19, which includes seniors age 65+ and essential workers, it is launching several new initiatives specifically for seniors to receive the vaccine. To date, one in three Chicagoans age 65+ has received a first dose of vaccine.
The Mayor's office has rolled out the Protect Chicago Free Vaccine Event throughout nine Chicago neighborhoods. The Auburn Gresham event is Sunday, March 14th, from 10a - 3p, at Foster Park, 440 W 84th St. Please have interested seniors contact GAGDC at 773-483-3696 for a quick, 5-minute registration.
The goal is to register 500 seniors. Please feel free to forward the attached flier.
