Hello,
I’m reaching out to let you know about job opportunities for Chicago youth through Skills for Chicagoland’s Future’s Beyond the Diploma program.
Skills has partnered with some of Chicago’s biggest employers including Walgreens, Freedman Seating, CDW and Rush University Medical Center, to connect youth to jobs with career pathways and educational opportunities.
Skills is currently looking to place high school graduates ages 18-24 into positions at Walgreens and Freedman Seating with a clearly defined career track. Beyond the Diploma participants will also pursue skills training/certifications and an opportunity to earn an associate’s degree at City Colleges—all with no out of pocket costs. Participants also receive mentoring and other support services through Skills’ partner organizations.
Would you be interested in sharing these opportunities with your readers? Interested applicants are encouraged to apply now. Included below is a link to more information about the Beyond the Diploma program as well as links to the Walgreens and Freedman Seating applications.
