IMPORTANT INFO: Violence Stops Here Showcase Date

In order to give youth 13 - 19 more time to prepare their contest entries, the submission deadline for 2012 Violence Stops Here has been extended to midnight December1st. 2012.   A December date for the performance showcase and finale will be announced.

The top 10 youth with entries expressing What their community would be like without violence will win a limo ride to Resolution Digital Studios for a chance to perform and win the $2,500 cash scholarship.

The 2012 Violence Stops Here competition is presented by Aldermen JoAnn Thompson, Roderick T. Sawyer, and Pat Dowell and members of the Responsible Retailer Initiative, MPACT Theater. Institute for Positive Living, Beloved Family Community Services, R.A.G.E., Invest In Englewood, and Precious Blood Ministries.
