I am an Auburn Gresham, Smart Communities Digital Youth Summer Jobs (DYSJ) intern. When I first started working at GAGDC (Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation) I was very humble with words around my fellow Interns. Soon I began to open up and become more friendly towards my peers. I ended up becoming good friends with the interns I worked with and others I associated with at my work site.
It was very nice and interesting to find out the things my GAGDC Interns liked to do was very different from the things I liked to do. Yet we all bonded over the six weeks of our internship.
I also learned how to do alot of different tech related projects working with GAGDC. I learned how to use the portal, publish writings and pictures onto websites, script and make iMovies and even sell items on ebay. Many of my new skills I will use in high school. The weeks I've worked for GAGDC were very good for me. It has been an awesome working and learning expenrience.
Built a lasting friendship with my fello SMART Digital Youth Summer Jobs (DYSJ) Interns? You bet!!
