Ms. Curry Got Covered IL Are You?

Sometimes all you can do is close your eyes and give thanks. That's what Ms. Curry expressed when they finished her "Get Covered Illinois" health insurance application, through the affordable care act market place, with certified navigator, Khayeem Anderson, in record time!

Initially she was shy and said no pictures. But she kept repeating how she was so thankful that she came to the GADC intake area, at the CEP Auburn Gresham Free Tax Site tonight to get her taxes done. She did not know she would also be able to work with an Affordable Care Act Navigator, right on the spot to sign her up for health insurance coverage. Finally she gave in, told us her story, and let us snap one photo.

Normally editors won't allow photos with clients eyes closed. In this case however, Ms. Curry was so excited, when they were done with the process, all she kept doing was closing her eyes and giving thanks and praise. "I have never had this kind of good service from any organization. I will definitely be back to get whatever services you guys offer and to volunteer!"
