THE ROAD TO HERE: Kidz Korna's 20 year Journey
Published: January 15, 2015
"Congratulations is definitely in order especially to all that stayed on this Journey with us!" -- Delece Williams
Since 1995, Kidz Korna has been shaping the lives of Chicago's young people, while helping to birth other youth programs byway of Inspiration through our local television Show on Can-TV, to later forming Kidz Korna Youth Organization, which works in local communities.
The Founder Delece Williams started out creating platforms to shine a light on the silent cries of child abuse based on secret phone calls she would receive during show taping from kids wanting help from being abused in their homes, to using violence prevention practices in some of the most unusual instances for the safety and protection of youth.
A YEAR LONG CELEBRATION is planned for Kidz Korna and the Founder through random acts of kindness from donors, supporters and friends to help further along the mission.
