MAYORAL CANDIDATE FORUM ON BLACK/BROWN ISSUES
Co-Sponsoring Groups Ask Candidates About Their Vision For A Unified City
WHAT/WHY:
Chicago's leading social service, religious and community-based organizations are co-sponsoring a Mayoral Forum to ask candidates about their vision for the City of Chicago related to issues facing Black and Latino communities.
Over 400 residents of color are expected to attend the only Mayoral Candidate forum that is not a debate but a discussion that encourages candidates to hone their answers as to how they will serve the citizens of Chicago and provide a unity platform.
Co-sponsored by a range of community organizations throughout the city, this is the only forum of Mayoral candidates that will serve as forum with three panels of community leaders asking Mayoral Candidates their position on a range of community issues focusing on Black/Brown unity.
