GOV. RAUNER, DON’T CUT YOUTH PROGRAMS
The BRAVE Youth Leaders of the ARK of Saint will join with youth from around Chicago who have been effected by the after school and youth programming cuts by Governor Rauner.
Today, Governor Rauner spoke about hiring more correctional officers to improve our jail systems, but he failed to mention improving our communities by investing funds in programs that help to prevent violence from happening.
The youth will be calling the Governor to come to our communities. He needs to hear their stories, invest in their communities and restore the programs so that they can have safer communities.
