In honor of Black History Month, ComEd launched its “Power of One” campaign to recognize unsung heroes, like Diane, who are making a difference in the community. The campaign profiles 28 inspiring Chicago-area “Neighborhood Heroes,” and their unique stories of how they are powering lives. Including our very own Auburn Gresham, Englewood, West Chatham and Chatham!

Jewel-Osco Partners with African-American Vendors to Celebrate Black History Month and Marks the 15th annual observance with events featuring tastings, live music, donations & special guests. The celebration kicked off on Thursday, February 6th from 3pm-7pm at the Jewel-Osco at 87 W. 87th Street in Chicago, IL. On Sunday, Following the kick-off event, the Black History Month celebration will continue with a series of in-store culinary events featuring authentic African -American dishes. The events will take place: 2/16, 11730 S. Marshfield, Chicago, 1:00PM-5:00PM and Sunday, 2/23, 7530 S Stony Island, Chicago, 1:00PM-5:00PM.
