G2 Crowd Announces Entrepreneurial Spirit Scholarship Program

G2 Crowd, the world’s leading marketplace for business software and services, today announces the launch of a new scholarship program for aspiring entrepreneurs. The scholarship will help the next generation of entrepreneurs offset the costs of a higher education so they can focus on their ideas for the future.

To achieve this goal, we’ve had to take risks and build a solution that could meet the needs of today’s technology buyer. We want the recipients of this scholarship to share in our commitment to building world-class solutions that will change the way we live and work.”

The company will award three $5,000 scholarships per quarter over the next 12 months to students who exhibit the greatest entrepreneurial spirit. The recipients will be chosen by a panel of three G2 Crowd team members. Notifications will be sent to honorees within two weeks of the corresponding scholarship period end date.

To apply, students are required to submit a one-page essay explaining why they’re deserving of the scholarship and how they will use the funds to advance their entrepreneurial goals.

To be eligible, applicants must be a full-time student currently enrolled (or about to be enrolled) in an accredited university in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Applicants are also required to have a verifiable minimum GPA of 2.5 and be at least 18 years old at the time of submission.

The scholarship periods are as follows:

Q3 2018 scholarship period - July 16th, 2018, 8 a.m. CT to Oct. 19th, 2018, 5 p.m. CT
Q4 2018 scholarship period - Oct. 22nd, 2018, 8 a.m. CT to Jan. 18th, 2019, 5 p.m. CT
Q1 2019 scholarship period - Jan. 21st, 2019, 8 a.m. CT to April 19th, 2019, 5 p.m. CT
Q2 2019 scholarship period - April 22nd, 2019, 8 a.m. CT to Aug. 16th 2018, 5 p.m. CT
