If you're returning after an extended holiday break, welcome back! We wanted to take a moment to introduce our newest reporter: Jamie Nesbitt Golden. Jamie will be covering Englewood, Chatham and Auburn Gresham for Block Club Chicago, and we're thrilled to bring her on board full time after years of working with her as a freelancer both here and at DNAinfo Chicago.

A lifelong South Sider currently residing in Hyde Park, Jamie's work has appeared inTime, Salon, xoJane and Ebony. When she isn't chasing stories, she co-hosts the Elevated Podcast, where she interviews Chicago people doing Chicago things.
