Join IMAN's Community Organizing Training
Published: April 2, 2019
Regardless of the outcomes of today's elections, our city and our communities are facing critical issues, like the need for police accountability and reform, lack of affordable housing, shuttered schools and mental health clinics, and overall lack of resources in neighborhoods on the South and West sides of the city. IMAN is serious about bringing people together to address these issues, drive real change and meet the needs of those who are most directly affected.
Join us for our upcoming two-day, intensive Community Organizing Training created to support committed leaders who are ready to take action to #FightFearBuildPower.
IMAN's organizing training focuses on fundamentals in community organizing and the role that power, self-interest and relationships play in making change. IMAN's organizing curriculum is grounded in the prophetic principles of compassion, service and justice, and informed by local and global social movements and organizing traditions.
