Community Health Needs Assessment and The Impact of Violence Prevention Programming
Community Health and Vitality is a major focus of the University of Chicago Medicine's Urban Health Initiative. On September 14th, Urban Health Initiative leaders, along with the Director of Community Health and Vitality, and two community leaders, will discuss community health priorities as defined in the recently published Community Health Needs Assessment. You'll also hear about the newly launched initiative Southland RISE, a collaborative effort powered by UChicago Medicine and Advocate Christ Medical Center to address trauma care and violence prevention and recovery on Chicago's South Side. Please join us for this important conversation.
