Apply for New “Chicago Made” Film & TV Workforce Training Program
Application Deadline: Wednesday, December 15 at 11:59pm The Chicago Film Office at DCASE has partnered with management consulting firm XD-TECH to deliver a free workforce development program that aims to transform the region’s TV and film workforce — by offering job training and placement to Chicago residents ages 24 to 50, primarily from underserved areas of our city, to help meet the industry’s increasing demand for skilled workers. Many of the positions are entry-level* and do not require a college degree including carpenter, costumer, grip, lighting tech, production assistant and set decorator. Application Deadline: Friday, January 7 at 5:00pm Individual Artists Program (IAP) grants support the creation, development, or presentation of artwork, and professional development, for artists across all disciplines including Film & Media Arts, Literary Arts, Performing Arts (Theatre/Dance), Music, and Visual Arts & Design. Call for Submissions: “Now Playing...Sights & Sounds” in the Learning Lab

The Learning Lab at the Chicago Cultural Center is an interactive studio that offers sights, sounds, and experiences for visitors of all ages and a wide range of abilities. It has been reinvigorated by design team Made in Englewood.

City of Chicago Mural Registry
Applications accepted on a rolling basis
DCASE manages the City of Chicago Mural Registry, a publicly-accessible database documenting the growing collection of murals across the city on both private and public property. Artists, organizations and property owners are encouraged to register completed murals by submitting an application.
