All elementary school grade girls currently enrolled in Oglesby Elementary School and their fathers or father figures were invited to attend a Daddy-Daughter Dance sponsored by the School Staff, Oglesby Local School Council (LSC) and the held at Oglesby Elementary School.
The evening of February 26, 2015, Oglesby Elementary School, an Auburn Gresham GOLD School Partner, the entire school staff, its local school council (LSC) and the Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation sponsored the second annual Daddy-Daughter dance. The dance was for girls in Kindergarten through 8th grade. It was held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Oglesby Elementary School gym. Each girl was beautifully dressed, some even coordinated their outfit with their dads. They were all truly dressed like little princesses.
The theme for this year's dance was very fitting of this 2nd annual event. Daddys and daughters enjoyed a fun filled evening of wonderful food provided by local Auburn Gresham Restaurants, red carpet ready photos by a local photograher Ty Watts, lots of dancing, hugs, and more dancing!
To make them feel even more special and to show a token of appreciation from the Oglesby staff, each daddy was presented a certificate for, "The World's Best Father." Take a look at some of the photos of the daddy-daughter event:
It was night to remember for all involved! A special thank you goes out to Oglesby Elementary partners, parents and the entire local school council (LSC) for all their hard work on this magnificent project!
