Upcoming Volunteer & Community Events with Gaia!!

Are you passionate about helping save the environment and making a local impact? Do you need volunteer hours for school? Volunteer with Gaia at our Reuse and Recycling Center!

Calumet Perspectives middle school students learned about the importance of recycling and reusing at the Gaia facility on April 1st, 2011. The students helped sort children's books and also helped take apart ordinary household items removing plastics from metals. The students sorted over 1,086 reusable children's books and Gaia will distribute these books at our community events, local charities, and organizations.

Join us for the Annual Planting of the Gaia Community Garden on Saturday May 7th from 9am to 1pm at 8918 S. Green Street! The event is open and free to the public, in order to attend the event please RSVP to (773) 580- 3512. Refreshments and food will be served!

Participate in the Senior Spring Cleaning Day on Friday, April 8th from 9am to 1pm. Gaia and Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation will collect from our seasoned neighbors donations and recycling.
