July 26th marked the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) being signed into law, sparking a new era of civil rights for people with disabilities in the U.S. In Chicago, a network of organizations is committing to new programs and initiatives, under ADA 25 Chicago, to fulfill the promise of the ADA, particularly in the areas of education, employment, community inclusion and technology.
