The proposal, introduced to City Council this month, would enable new construction projects along more than 20 high-ridership bus routes to reduce on-site parking and add density for more walkable neighborhoods. The proposal covers eight corridors served by the following routes

- Ashland Avenue (#9, #X9)
- Chicago Avenue (#66)
- North Lake Shore Drive (#134, #135, #136, #143, #146, #147, #148)
- South Lake Shore Drive (#2, #6, #J14, #26, #28)
- Western Avenue (#49, #X49)
