Oak Street Health Serves as Warming Centers for the Elderly: Feb 18, 2015; Oak Street Health Serves as Warming Centers for the Elderly, Urges Residents to take Safety Precautions during these frigid temperatures. On Wednesday, February 18th and Thursday, February 19^th, from 9am to 5pm, all seven Oak Street Health community centers in Portage Park, Edgewater, Bronzeville, Ashburn, Avalon Park, Berwyn and Blue Island will be open to all seniors as warming centers offering free coffee, hot chocolate, tea and entertainment for seniors.
