Young Women’s Leadership Charter School Hosts Open Houses
Young Women’s Leadership Charter School, Chicago’s only all-girls public high school located in Bronzeville, will host an Open House on Wednesday, December 9 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. for prospective families and students for the 2016-17 school year.
Young Women’s prides itself on academic excellence – for the past three years, the school has graduated 100 percent of its seniors with a 100 percent college acceptance rate and has recently produced both Posse Scholars and Gates Millennium Scholars, which provide full-ride scholarships for post-secondary and postgraduate education. This year, the school also welcomed its largest freshman class ever.
Families are invited to learn more about the school’s strong college-prep academic focus, small-school environment and overall programming that develops and transforms girls into young women leaders.
An additional Open House for the 2016-17 school year will take place on, Saturday, January 23 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
