The Well-Woman Project Wants to Hear Your Story before June 30th!

June is the last month for women to share their story with the Well-Woman Project about the conditions in their lives that make it easy or challenging to get preventive care and be healthy. The first 10 participants in the month of June who share their stories will receive a $25 Walmart gift card. After that, June submissions receive a $5 gift card.

Chatham Business Association (CBA) is hosting their annual employment workshop and job fair on Saturday June 4th and Saturday June 11th from 9am - 12pm. It targets youth (ages 16-24) looking for employment or to any businesses looking for employees.  CBA has an 80% success rate in placing our youth for summer positions.

Forest Preserves of Cook County Launches Pilot Program for Youth Employment. Teens will learn conservation work and make improvements to local habitats. This year, the Chicago Conservation Leadership Corps program will engage 66 youth, ages 15 to 19, in a six-week hands-on summer work experience.
