The Special Service Area Program (SSA) is a special tax assessment and  funding mechanism used for Chicago neighborhood improvement efforts. It is a  specified tax that local property owners within a certain boundary agree to  assess themselves in order to provide a broad scope of services. 
The  mission of the Auburn Gresham 79th Street SSA #32 is to improve the economic  viability and stability of the business community by promoting for a clean,  attractive, and safe environment for property owners, tenants, residents, and  visitors in the Auburn Gresham community. 
Authorized services include,  but are not limited to: Maintenance and Beautification, Security Services,  Economic Development, and Marketing. 
All SSA #32 meetings shall be held  at specified times and places which are convenient and open to the public.  
 SSA #32 meetings occur quarterly and conveniently accessible by  public transportation.
