We provide free tax help to Families with incomes up to $50,000 and Individuals with incomes up to $25,000. Come early! Line forms at the GADC intake area, at 7903 S. Racine. The DOORS OPEN at 5:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:00am. This FREE service is based on a first come, first served basis. Be sure to come earlier to hold your spot in line.

February 2015, "Chicago Public Library branches will begin lending Wi-Fi hotspots and devices through Internet to Go in the Brighton Park, Greater Grand Crossing and Douglass branches, officials said. Once tested, the program will expand to at least three more communities. Each pilot location will circulate about 100 hotspot devices and staff in-library experts to teach digital skills."

Nearly 5,000 Chicago fifth grade students are becoming Super Energy Savers through a joint education program offered by ComEd and Peoples Gas. Super Savers, a FREE science, engineering and mathematics (STEM) based curriculum, developed for fifth grade students, will teach thousands of students about the importance of energy efficiency, and allow them to share money- and energy-saving tips with their families.
